This secretary is our version of a popular 19th century piece. This graceful, multifunctional desk turns work into a joy. It serves equally well in the home office or the kitchen, where the drop front keeps papers, phone and laptop easily accessible but hidden away. Lots of storage is tucked behind the spacious drop front, which is set at a comfortable 30-inch height. If you’d like to run wires out of the secretary’s back, we recommend adding a walnut grommet for an additional $20; it’s much more pleasing to the eye than rubber grommets.
